Production
The plan for the shoot shouldn't live where the shoot can't see it.
Planning a shoot, mapping a complex page, or reviewing a batch of photos usually happens somewhere your production tracking can't see it: a spreadsheet, a shared doc, an email thread with attachments, disconnected from the card the work is attached to. Production keeps the plan, the page, and the review in the same place.
Why it matters
The gap between the plan and the work, and the feedback nobody can find later, is where the time goes.
A missed B-roll note, a shot list that never made it back to whoever's editing, a photo comment buried in an email thread nobody can find later. Keeping the plan and the feedback on the card itself means the person editing, the person who wrote the script, and the person reviewing the photo are all looking at the same thing.
Storyboard video and podcast work
Build the shot list on the card, not beside it.
Open the document on a video or podcast card and build a shot list right there. Reorder shots by dragging, and fill in the type, location, action, voiceover or dialogue, and B-roll notes for each one. Speakers pull in automatically from whoever's already attached to the card. Already have a script? Generate a starting shot list from it instead of building one from scratch.
Map web pages before you write them
See how the page fits together before the first word.
Open a web card and switch to Sitemap mode: a visual, drag-and-drop diagram for planning how a page's sections relate to each other, before a single word gets written.
Review photo and graphic work in place
Leave the note on the image, not in a separate email.
Open a photo or graphic card and drop pins directly on the image to ask for a crop, a color fix, or a different angle. Every comment stays attached to the exact spot and the exact version, so a new upload doesn't leave old notes pointing at nothing.
What's included
If you can plan and review in one place, getting work done is easy.
Storyboard, Sitemap, and photo and graphic review follow the same editing permissions as the rest of the document.
