Analytics

Google Analytics tells you who visited. It can't tell you who never had to.

When a prospective student asks an AI assistant what your program costs or when applications close, they may get your answer without ever landing on your page. Analytics covers both audiences: the one you can already measure, and the one you've had no way to see until now.

Why it matters

Prospective students are asking AI the questions your website used to answer.

What a program costs, when applications close, whether it's accredited. If your pages aren't built for how AI answer engines read, you're invisible in a channel with no dashboard of its own, and a healthy Google Analytics number won't tell you that. Analytics turns "we hope AI tools cite us" into a number you can track, right alongside the visitor data you already check.

How your content performs with visitors

Page performance, on the card that produced it.

Connect Google Analytics once, and every published piece shows its own page views, sessions, engagement, and time on page, right where you're already looking at that piece of work, not in a separate reporting tool you have to remember to open.

A list of four flagged items from a page review, labelled C1, Career Outcomes, C6 and S6. Each has a Refresh existing page tag, a short explanation about cost transparency, career outcomes, a testimonial or a structured FAQ, and a priority number from 1 to 4.

How your content performs with AI

A 13-point rubric, then a weekly reality check.

Every published page is scored against a rubric built for how AI answer engines actually read content, then tested weekly against the questions a prospective student would ask, to see whether your specific page gets cited. You get a score and a checklist of what to fix.

What's included

Everything scored, tracked, and compared automatically.

Google Analytics is opt-in and genuinely optional: AEO scoring and citation tracking work whether or not you ever connect an account. Once a page is tracked, scoring and the weekly citation checks run together automatically, and a failing score can open a follow-up card on the right board on its own. Analytics also tracks how you compare to competitors over time, and which strategic topics you're winning or losing.
